Carshalton Boys Sports College

Phil acted as Ellis and Moore’s project director for the design and construction of a new classroom block at Carshalton Boys Sports College in Sutton.

The project comprised a two storey steel framed stand alone block in the existing schools grounds. Upper floors were Comflor 60 composite floors spanning on the top flanges of the beams. The ground floor and foundations comprised a proprietary piled raft system.

Construction work took place in alive school environment with all of the associated constraints.
